  1. We won’t lie, it’s all a bit quiet in the print world. Printing is very quiet now. That’s understandable and it’s something we’ve had to get used to very quickly.

But… we’ve seen challenges before and although these are ‘unprecedented times’ (as the UK Government describes them), this will pass and after it all, there will be a new normal.

The question is, will your business be ready?

During the COVID19 pandemic there have been plenty of new opportunities. We have seen new ways of remote working, online learning, and zoom calls are now the new meeting!

And of course… virtual backgrounds are growing in popularity.

These things will become permanent fixtures in the way we work. Make sure you become at one with them as they’re here to stay.

That all said, when this is over (and it will be over) there will be a massive appetite for us to satisfy our need for human interaction. Networking will come back. Expos will come back. Real life meetings will happen again.

So, what are the 6 types of print that you’ll need to prepare?

    1. Signage for the “Low Touch Economy”

  2. Social Distancing is here to stay for a while to prevent any further peaks in infection rates and spread of the awful infection.

Shops, offices and workplaces re-opening will need clear instructions on hygiene and safe practices. We are ready with pre designed templates that we can produce at cost effective rates to keep your customers safe.

    2. The Humble Business Card!

  3. Ah, the forgotten hero! The business card is the silent ambassador in your networking, and when you get back to those networking events you’ll need plenty of those again. Business cards are vital even in this online world and we don’t see that changing. Give them out and they will forever be marketing for you. The ones you gave out months ago are doing it right now… somewhere on someone’s desk!

Give it a few months and they will be called upon again as the staple feature of networking and meetings.

What should you do now? Look at the design, think about the feel, consider a re-think on your humble business card. How can you make it stand out and represent you perfectly?

Business cards are available in a range of finishes includinglaminated, spot UV, folded, and textured. Getting it right willstylishly deliver your brand identity and contact details well after the meeting has finished.

    3. The Leaflet

Ah… paper. At the time of writing this (April 2020) the postal service is still delivering post and keeping the essentials popping through our doors. Leaflets are distributed far and wide and will help reconnect you to your audience when all this passes and we move into the new normal.

A leaflet can keep sharing your message long after your tweet or Facebook post has been swallowed up by the huge volume of content. A well-designed leaflet can get across your branding and your messages or offers very effectively and can be distributed however you wish, who whoever you wish.

The options for leaflets are varied. A6 to A4, single sided or double, flat or folded – you decide! (Or we can help you decide, depending on your artwork.)

    4. The Brochure

Take it on a level. When you get back out there, consider creating a brochure outlining your products and services that you can leave behind after those key meetings and pitches.

A brochure can be as simple as a A4 sheet tri folded or a multi-page, stapled brochure. It doesn’t need to be a big hard backed book. Don’t put blockages or barriers in your way. Get known again across your target audience. Explain what you do and how you help solve problems and leave them with something branded, professional, and tangible.

    5. The Roller Banner

Remember them? It might feel like it’s been ages since you went out and networked with other businesses, but that roller banner will be out again sooner than you think.

Going networking without a banner is crazy, assuming you’re allowed to put one up. The selfies and photos from those events are shared far and wide and your banner should be there, in the background, shouting about your business.

Having a brand refresh during this enforced break? Make sure you check over your printed material and sort out your business cards and leaflets, but also get your roller banner updated and refreshed.

Display it proudly at meetings and consider using a wide banner for your Facebook lives and Zooms that you’ve now perfected!

    6. Exhibition stuff
